Location Assessments

  • Many factors are in play when it comes to settling on a location for your new cultivation facility, including analyzing local zoning codes, finding accommodating landlords, negotiating lease terms, permitting, licensing, and much more. From building permits to cost/revenue estimations, DRC has you covered.

Cultivation Facility Design and Layout

  • Finding your facility is just the beginning. Our experts can walk you through designing architectural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security, and fire schematics that will impress potential landlords and investors. Industry standard AutoCAD professionals are at your fingertips.
  • Building a smart foundation for your business from the start will save you countless dollars later by eliminating the need for expensive build outs that can halt production. We've implemented proven methods of maximizing square footage as well as yield without sacrificing quality.

  • Protecting the investment in your cultivation facility from criminals and preventing internal losses starts with state of the art surveillance technology and smart security protocol. From contractors to former employees, the location of your facility may be leaked.
  • Transferring product from warehouse to storefront presents unique challenges to businesses in the MMJ industry. We can teach best practices on how to deal with law enforcement, as well as keeping drivers safe.

  • One of the largest investments you'll make is in the physical equipment needed to grow plants for your patients. We've quality tested a variety of brands for durability, energy efficiency, and effectiveness and know which you can trust over the long haul.
  • Replacing lights too soon can lead to thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenditures, while waiting for too long can decrease yields dramatically, a loss that's often not identifiable until it's too late. The same goes for ballasts, timers, pumps, and that's just the beginning. We can help you walk that fine line.
  • With high levels of electricity and mechanical equipment in use at all times, there are inevitable heat pockets that are formed. Depending on the severity these may need to be addressed with revisions to ventilation or electrical systems.

Plant Management

  • We have a list of reputable breeders and an extensive knowledge of the various strains available in most markets. Once the seeds are purchased, DRC can provide all the information necessary to germinate the seeds, determine their sex and implement them into the rotation. Selecting the correct phenotype out of a variety of genetic expressions will be critical in the development of your garden.
  • Once you have your core genetics, preserving them over generations will be key to sustaining your garden. We'll show you how to properly cut and care for clones, as well as maintaining the health of the mother plants you'll be taking them from.
  • DRC can provide proven recipes and scheduling for any type of grow method: Organic Soil, Synthetic Hydro or Coco, as well as create a detailed timeline for nutrient formulas during vegetative and flower phases.
  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM) best practices are needed from day one to prevent a wide variety of common and unique cultivation facility pests. We can help craft an action plan for removal of any pests or pathogens (mildew, mold) in an already developed facility and leave you with ongoing prevention instruction, as well. Safe and clean medicine is a hallmark of Denver Relief.
  • Managing a wide variety of environmental factors, including Co2, is an incredibly difficult task on a large scale. We can assist in creating a strategic and adaptive design that keeps temperature, humidity, pH, and EC/PPM levels at their optimal rate.

  • Pulling a harvest early can negate all of your hard work over several months time. We'll detail when flowers are mature and ready for harvest, proper trimming techniques, and how to maintain a sanitary environment for the duration of the process.
  • One of the most overlooked, and technically complicated, parts of the growing process is curing the finished product for optimal scent and flavor.
  • In most states, plants must be tagged and labeled from seed to distribution to a retail center. DRC can provide an efficient system for labeling and tracking each plant from the cloning stage through harvest and packaging.

Processing and Packaging

  • Creating a smart distribution chain from your warehouse to center involves many steps, from tracking and monitoring each plant, to packaging product to maintain quality, to processing it in at your retail location to get it on your shelves as soon as possible. This cross-department coordination requires excellent communication and work flow management.
