Melissa Colebank
Executive Administrator
Melissa Colebank began her work in drug policy reform in 2010 when she co-founded the first chapter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy in South Carolina at the College of Charleston. In college, she lobbied at a national level for drug policy reform, served on the College’s judicial board, and was an active volunteer for the North Carolina Harm Reduction Action Center. Melissa has attended multiple International Harm Reduction conferences and International Drug Policy Reform conferences to further develop her activism strategies and knowledge base, as well as volunteered at several regional and national harm reduction conferences to bring awareness on a local level. After graduating from the College of Charleston with a degree in Corporate Communication and American Studies in 2012, Melissa moved to Denver to pursue career opportunities and continued her harm reduction advocacy by volunteering with Denver’s Harm Reduction Action Center. Melissa joined Denver Relief Consulting in October 2014 as Office Manager and Executive Administrator after gaining skills in other industries including office administration, sales, and extensive customer service experience. Her dedication to drug reform and policy change continues as she serves as the GREEN TEAM event and volunteer coordinator. She was also the SSDP Alumni Mountain Region Vice-President from 2014 - 2015. She brings a passion for drug policy reform, cannabis, harm reduction, as well as a bright smile to the front office each day.
