Lauren Howard

Lauren grew up in Chicago, Illinois, before completing her undergraduate degree in Political Science and French at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She went on to the University of Chicago Law School, where she worked at an immigration non-profit and participated in the Mandel Clinic’s Employment Discrimination Project. In 2011, Lauren moved to Denver to serve as an Attorney Advisor to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Seeing the impact of prohibition on workers, immigrants, and family members struggling to ease their pain with dignity sparked Lauren’s interest in legalization and the movement to normalize cannabis. With a varied background in government, higher education, and non-profit sectors, Lauren brings both an extensive knowledge of state and federal legal and regulatory frameworks and an enthusiasm for organization, productivity, and helping others achieve success. She is excited to play a role in developing and maintaining a positive, professional reputation of the cannabis industry.
